EDITH RONEY
Edith Roney, 80, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Monday, December 19, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Arnold Roney (2002). Dear mother of Roger Roney, Mary Lee Ens (Paul), Glen Roney and Laurel Ann Engel (Peter). Loving grandmother of Michelle, Nancy and Michael Roney, Rebecca, Brittany (Will), Kelly and Erica Roney, Nicholas (Kelsey) and Jennifer Engel. Cherished great grandmother of Ari and Charlie. Dear sister of Lila McClinchey (Norman), Edna Ford (Eddie) and Ellen Jackson (Ralph). Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Florence Daer, brother Robert Daer and grandson Steven.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor William Kramer officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to OPAL or Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
