Obituary for Myrtle Walkom (Innes)
MYRTLE WALKOM
Myrtle Irene Walkom, 87, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Walkom (2001). Dear mother of Anne Marie Heckman (Jim), Lloyd Walkom (Bev), Myrna Leaman (Howard) and Cynthia Grau (Mike). Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Elsie Gray (Cris) and Frances Lannin (Blythe). Dear sister-in-law of Annis Innes and Lloyd Hislop. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Beatrice (Gibb) Innes, brothers Calvin (Bonnie), Alex and Ed (Pat) Innes and sister Lenore Hislop.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Thamesview United Church, Fullarton on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Knowles officiating. Spring interment in Bethel Munro Cemetery. Memorial donations to Thamesview United Church or charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
