MARGARET KRAAL
Margaret Kraal, 90, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Kraal (2004). Dear mother of Marilyn Koot (Willy) and Ed Kraal (Rose). Loving grandmother of Nathan Koot (Taylor), Josh Koot (Amber), Dan Kraal (Seyra) and Lisa Kraal (Michael). Cherished great grandmother of Ava & Brayah. Dear sister of Hilda Anema (Albert), Clarence Haalstra (Jenny) and Jane Kroesbergen. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce Smith (Harold), Lynn Haalstra, Donna Haalstra and Ben Kraal. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland.
Predeceased by her parents Teunis and Maaike Haalstra, brothers Ralph Haalstra (Jeannette), George Haalstra, Siebo Haalstra (Anna Mae), Maynard Haalstra and Edward Haalstra, sister Esther de Boer (Sybren), brother-in-law Henk Kroesbergen, sister-in-law Jenny Kraal and her Kraal brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Holland.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or the Mitchell Nursing Home would be appreciated and may be made at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
