VICTOR KUCYK
Victor Kucyk, 72, of RR 3, Mitchell passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side, after a lengthy illness, at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Beloved spouse of Anna for nearly 50 years. Dear father of Kathryn (Rick). Son of Sophia Kucyk and son-in-law of Kathleen Aikens. Brother of Edward Kucyk (Geraldine). Brother-in-law of Sharon Ferguson. Uncle to Brad (Natalie), Stefanie (Blair), Emilia and Julia.
Predeceased by his father Victor Kucyk Sr., brother Stephen Kucyk, and father-in-law Lorne Aikens.
Victor leaves behind a legacy of research and breeding work with open pollinated corn.
The family extends it's heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital in London, the nurses that cared for Victor at home, and the nurses and staff at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth for their gracious care and support.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a public come-and-go celebration of Victor's life at the Lockhart Funeral Home Reception Centre on Saturday May 6, from 2-4 p.m. A private graveside service and interment will be held.
