Vera Fischer, 89, of RR3, Mitchell passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Dalton Fischer (2022). Dear mother of Bob Fischer (Pam), Judy Culligan (John), Dave Fischer (Tracy) and Janet Fischer (Alan). Loving grandmother of Jen Culligan, Adam Culligan, Ben Culligan (Kelsey), Matt Fischer (Mary) and Kara Knight (Mat). Cherished great grandmother of Dennis and Wes Fischer and Will Knight. Dear sister of Doreen Gloor, Norma Boyd and Ray Feltz (Marlene). Dear sister-in-law of Alice, Joyce and Audrey Feltz.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Martha (Scherbarth) Feltz, brothers Lloyd, Ralph and Harold Feltz and brothers-in-law Elwood Boyd, Lloyd Gloor and Jack Fischer.
Vera was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Mitchell where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the Ritz Lutheran Villa Auxiliary.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gery Luck officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Those attending the funeral home visitation are asked to schedule a time at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by calling 519-348-8643. Scheduling is not required to attend the funeral service. Spring interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
