REVEREND R. GEORGE REINHART

"Be ye faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life." Rev. 2:10. Reverend R. George Reinhart, 82, received his crown in the early hours of Easter Sunday (April 17, 2022) peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital. Beloved husband of Faye. Loving father of Kevin (Lori), Karyn (Jeff), Vanya (Ron), Paul (Mandy). Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of David (Hazel). Dear godfather of Michael. Loved brother-in-law of Davina, Bruce (Irene), Janet (Paul), and Kathy (Bob).

Predeceased by his first wife Jan (1998) and eldest son Keith (2001).

Pastor Reinhart celebrated 50 years in the ministry with Lutheran Church - Canada in 2018. He served congregations in Mitchell, London, Drumheller, Clifford, Fisherville and Wellesley. He was an avid Blue Jays fan, enjoyed golfing, going to his grandchildren's sporting events and relaxing at the trailer.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The family requests those attending the visitation to wear a mask if you are able and to register online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by calling the funeral home at 519-348-8643.
