Marjorie Ische, 87, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Ritz Villa, Mitchell on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Orval Ische (1996). Dear mother of Dennis Ische (Arlene), Calvin Ische (Marcia) and Glenda Woods (Doug). Loving grandmother of Cheralyn Frizzell (Darren), Ryan Ische (April), Kyle Ische, Lauren Ische, Eric Woods (Aimee) and Danielle Woods. Cherished great grandmother of Leah, Daphne, Kensington, Harper, Sabelle, Eilee and Persephone. Dear sister of Elmer Gordner, Laverne Gordner (Audrey), Doreen Bennewies, Earl Gordner (Anne) and Walter Gordner (Pauline). Dear sister-in-law of Audrey Ische, Don Ische (Marlene), Wayne Ische (Sharon), Joyce Cook (Murray) and Janet Manser. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents John and Melinda Gordner, brothers-in-law Edward Bennewies and Russell Ische and sisters-in-law Lois Gordner and Helen Winteringham (Bruce).

Marjorie was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Always giving the best that she had to give. Marjorie took up hairdressing as a career change after farming. She enjoyed cutting the hair of family, friends and clients in the Mitchell and Stratford area. She also served as an organist at the church as well as assisting in worship at several nursing homes. She loved music and was always happy to sit in on the keyboard at any opportunity especially as part of the Old Spice Girls group. She enjoyed travel, cake decorating and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
