LARRY MCGRATH
Larry McGrath, 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, October 21, 2022. Cherished husband of Deb for 49 years. Loving father of Craig, and Mark (Kelly). Beloved grandfather of Connor, and Melanie. Dear brother of Allan (Marianne). He will be missed by his mother-in-law Joyce, many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his furry companions Molson and Dakota.
Predeceased by his parents Roy and Barbara, and his father-in-law Allan.
He was carpenter by trade and transitioned into running Gardener's Choice Garden Center. He loved being in nature and gardening in his green house. He loved spending time with his family doing karate, snowshoeing, hunting, and golfing, just as long as they were together.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 for a visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.
