JOHNNY "TALLO" TALLON
Johnny Tallon, 71, of Mitchell passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Beloved husband of Joan Van Herk. Dear father of Steve and Rob (Maggie). Dear step-father of Sandy (Mark), Katie (Ben), Jenn (Tristan) and Brian (Lyndsay). Loving grandfather of Dominic, Anthony, Sofia, Daxton, Keatyn, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Liam, Hudson, Owen, Bennett and Ari. Dear brother of Pat (Carmel) and Frances (Frank). He will be missed by the Van Herk and Murphy families and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents John and Molly Tallon, brother Paul and mother-in-law Jenny Van Herk.
Johnny owned and operated Johnny's Meat & Deli in Mitchell for 16 years. He was involved in establishing minor soccer in Mitchell and had coached many teams. He was a life-long Liverpool F.C. supporter.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
