John Moore, 86, of Goderich and formerly of Mitchell passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
Beloved husband of Isabelle Moore. Dear father of David Moore and wife Dr. Laurel Moore and Janice Moore and husband Lloyd Dunphy. Loving grandfather of Patrick, Matthew (Sarah Lynn) and Sarah (Jason). Cherished great grandfather of Daniel, Natalie, Johnathan and Gregory. Dear brother of Bill Moore (Sue) and Donna Steeves (Larry). Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Edith Moore, brother Ron, sisters Doloros and Ruth Anne, brother-in-law John Caldwell and sister-in-law Mona Alderdice (Vern).
John owned and operated John Moore Insurance in Dublin since 1970 until it was taken over by his son David. He was also an agent for Usborne and Hibbert Mutual Fire Insurance Company.
