HERM SOONTIENS
Herm Soontiens, 76, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Surviving is his family Michael and Laura and their mother Susan Bradshaw. Dear brother of Joe Soontiens, Frank Soontiens (Janet) and Marianne Mikel (Dennis). Dear brother-in-law of Pam Soontiens. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Rene and Johanna Soontiens, step-mother Julia Soontiens and brother John Soontiens (2000).
Herm was the foreman of the former Mitchell P.U.C. and Erie Thames Power for many years.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Lung Association, Cancer Society (Research) or charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
