DONNA ROSE
Donna Rose, 88, of Mitchell passed away suddenly at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Laverne Rose (1995). Dear mother of John Rose (Karen), Judy Jansen, Joanne Dawe (Brad), the late Jeff Rose (2006) and Jackie Wietersen (Dave). Dear mother-in-law of Marcy Rose-Mueller (Randy). Loving grandmother of Krista, Trevor, Trish, Nic, Kelly, Mandy, Cole, Kaylin, Rhyse, Matt, Brady and Hailey. She will be missed by her ten great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Rose and Audrey O'Rourke (Len). Dear sister-in-law of Ken Rolph and Richard Rose (Esther). Also surviving are her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Rose, parents Jack and Gladys Kemp, sisters Irene Uniac (Bob), Helen Rolph and Jean in infancy, brothers Lloyd Kemp, Roy "Mick" Kemp and brothers-in-law Fred Malone, Lloyd Rose (Lucene) and Earl Rose.
Donna was supportive, accepting, kind, strong and courageous. She was the epitome of a mother and grandmother. The "Queen" of hearts, a cheerleader and a friend. Lover of cards, lawn bowling and the Blue Jays. You could always find a treat at Grandma Rose's.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation must register online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by phone at 519-348-8643.
