DALTON FISCHER
Dalton Fischer, 92, of RR3, Mitchell passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2022.
Beloved husband of Vera Fischer. Dear father of Bob Fischer (Pam), Judy Culligan (John), Dave Fischer (Tracy) and Janet Fischer (Alan). Loving grandfather of Jen Culligan, Adam Culligan, Ben Culligan (Kelsey), Matt Fischer (Mary) and Kara Knight (Mat). Cherished great grandfather of Dennis and Wes Fischer and Will Knight. Dear brother-in-law of Doreen Gloor, Norma Boyd, Alice Feltz, Joyce Feltz, Audrey Feltz and Ray and Marlene Feltz. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Menno and Elizabeth Fischer, brother Jack Fischer, brothers-in-law Lloyd Gloor, Elwood Boyd, Lloyd Feltz, Ralph Feltz and Harold Feltz.
Dalton was a farmer at heart and maintained an avid interest in the farm right to the end. He also operated Dalton Fischer Trucking for many years. In his later years, Dalton could be found at the Mitchell Car Wash until retiring at age 85.
