Colleen Weir, 65, of Mitchell passed away surrounded by her family at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Beloved spouse of Eugene Hough. Dear mother of Karen Weir (Bob Kay), Pat Weir and Bob Weir (Denise). Dear step-mother of April Albright (Bob). Loving grandmother of Caleb Kay, Jack and Alex Weir, Courtnei, Kaitlyn and Charlie Albright. Dear great grandmother of Sawyer and Arabella. Dear sister of Mark Bannon (Joanne), Joanne Soontiens (Earl Dietrich), Arlene Thomas (Mike), Kevin Bannon and Elaine Young (Allan). Dear sister-in-law of Joanne Bannon. She will be missed by the Hough and Weir families and her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Ken Weir (1993), parents Eugene and Theresa Bannon, brothers Murray Bannon and Jerome Bannon.
She was always so positive even at the worst of times, her favourite saying was “it is what it is”, she loved lots and needed little, she was strong, brave and beautiful, she was a superstar! Be as bright in heaven as you were on this earth and keep smiling!
