CHARLES "CHUCK" DUNLOP
Chuck Dunlop, 74, of Mitchell passed away surrounded by much love and family at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Sunday, December 18, 2022 after a short, hard battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Anna Dunlop. Dear father of Steve (Linda), Dan and Mike Dunlop, Mary Jackson (Joe), Janice Rauser (Mark), Cathy Jeffrey (Wayne), Tom Shean, Heather Shean (Andy), Vanessa Shean (Xay) and Amie Abbott (Cole). Loving grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Frances Timmermans (Pete), Tinus Otten (Margaret), Anno Otten (Betty) and Arend Otten (Cheri). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Peggy Dunlop, brother-in-law Klaas Otten (Mina) and sister-in-law Klaasja Vandersleen (Klaas) and great grandson Zane Russell.
Chuck loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, automobiles, his cats, word puzzles, fishing and being a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. His sarcastic sense of humour stayed with him right to the end.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St, Mitchell on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Hutton officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in McTaggart's Cemetery.
