CATHERINE STAFFEN
Catherine Staffen, 74, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Friday, December 9, 2022.
Beloved wife of Larry Staffen. Dear mother of Mark Staffen (Tammy) and Matthew Staffen (Chantal). Loving grandmother of Lyndsie (Kyle), Brayden, Velicia, Tristan and Brielle. Dear sister of Carol Allen (Charles). Dear sister-in-law of Maxine Greene. Also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her parents Mac (2011) and Sylvia (1990) McCulligh, brother Ron McCulligh (2020) and brother-in-law Murray Greene (2019).
Catherine loved her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Mitchell and served on the Board of Managers. Over the years, she was active in Scouts Canada, driving school bus and was a Customer Service Rep at the LCBO stores in Mitchell and Stratford.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Fraser officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Mitchell or the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
