Betty Vock-Cowell, 89, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Carl Vock (1989) and Cecil Cowell (2005). Dear mother of Douglas Vock (Helen), Joyce Westman (Dennis), June Faust (Ken), Wanda Swanson (Mark) and Bill Vock. Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Zimmer. Dear sister-in-law of Vera, Anne and Margaret Kemp, Erma McLean and Shirley Aver. Also surviving are her many nieces, nephews and the Cowell family.
Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Cathy Vock, parents Clifford and Leone Kemp, brothers Dalton (Phyllis), Gordon (Jean), Earl, George and Harold Kemp, sisters Evelyn Pridham (Ormond), Margaret Cornish (Bill) and Fay Sager (Ernie), sister-in-law Pearl Henderson (John) and brothers-in-law Bruce McLean, Peter Aver and Laverne Zimmer.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Hutchison officiating.
