Art spent over 40 years in the carpentry trade, enjoyed working on old cars and tractors but had a huge love for his family and his dogs. Art enjoyed country living which allowed him to work on many hobby projects, kind of a jack of all trades, Art could fix just about anything.

Art dedicated his life to giving of himself, he was an individual that could be counted on regardless of what was needed, if there was a way for Art to help someone he made it happen. One of the greatest legacies that he leaves behind, is in those he cherished so much, the goodness and moving human spirit that is so much in need today.

Special thank you to all the Huron County paramedics, police and firefighters that worked their absolute best to do everything for Art.

A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
