Obituary for Ebony Kay

EBONY KAY

Ebony Kay, 13, of Mitchell passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Beloved daughter of Graeme and Jessica Kay. Loving sister of Jordain, Damon, Breanna, Ellaina, Brooklyn and Morgan. Cherished granddaughter of Gerard and Brenda Kay and Chad Weekes. Loving great granddaughter of Larry and Beth Weekes. She will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Predeceased by her grandparents Mary and Joseph Montgomery.

Ebony was a very vibrant young woman who loved her family and took pleasure in making people laugh. She graduated from Grade 8 at Mitchell District High School and enjoyed gymnastics, volleyball, soccer and karate.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 689 Huron St., Stratford from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with President Benjamin Olsen presiding. A reception will follow. Interment in Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations to Epilepsy - Southwestern Ontario may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
