RUTH EICKMEIER

Ruth Eickmeier, 91, of Mitchell passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Hillside Manor, RR5, Stratford on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Frank E. Eickmeier (1990). Dear mother of Brian Eickmeier and Brenda Smith (Ron). Loving grandmother of Jacqui Tam (Keith), Jenni Jackson (Will) and Jay Smith. Cherished great grandmother of Lyndon, Marshall and Daphne Tam, Hailey and Hunter Jackson. Dear sister of Grace Riehl. Dear sister-in-law of Isabel Vock. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents John and Minnie Vock, daugher-in-law Mary Ellen Osborn, brother Milton Vock, brother-in-law Ken Riehl and sisters-in-law Vera Hillebrecht (Carl), Jean Hinz (Pete) and Esther Peel (Mark).

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Laura Sauder officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Brodhagen. Memorial donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Upper Thames Missionary Church would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
